Your images

The images you open in Imgverter are processed entirely inside your browser, on your own device. They are not uploaded to our servers or to any third party, and we have no ability to view, copy or store them. Results exist only in your browser’s memory until you download them, and are discarded when you close or leave the page.

Files you download from this site are rebuilt from image pixels only. Metadata embedded in the original, such as camera details and GPS location, is not included in the output.

Information collected automatically

Like almost every website, our hosting provider records standard technical logs when a page is requested: IP address, browser type, the page requested and the time. These logs are used to keep the service running and to prevent abuse. They do not contain your images or any information about them.

Cookies and advertising

This site may display advertising provided by third parties, including Google. Advertising partners may use cookies or similar technologies to show ads based on your visits to this and other websites. You can opt out of personalised advertising from Google at adssettings.google.com, and learn how Google uses information from sites that use its services at policies.google.com/technologies/partner-sites. Advertising scripts never have access to the images you process.

Analytics

We may use privacy-respecting, aggregate analytics to understand which tools are used and how pages perform. Any such measurement concerns page visits only, never the contents of your files.

Children

This site is a general-purpose utility and is not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children.

Changes

If this policy changes, the updated version will be published on this page with a new date.
